The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (or Cavalier) is a small spaniel classed as a toy dog by The Kennel Club and the American Kennel Club. Cavaliers originated in the United Kingdom and is one of the more popular breeds in many countries. In recent years, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has grown in popularity and is currently one of the most popular pure-breeds in the United States.

Size

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel weighs an average of 12-18 lbs, and usually stands 12-13 inches high at the shoulder.
